2022 - JaM Cellars produces one of the most distributed chardonnays in the U.S.A. If you see a bright yellow chardonnay label on the shelf that’s because other brands are chasing Butter Chardonnay. They even make a nail polish in Butter yellow. That brand color got spun into a bold colorful website that does their wine justice.
One of the most satisfying aspects of working closely with a brand’s team is being to able create a different perspective of their own brand. A perspective that creatively visualizes their offering, one that stokes their own enthusiam for their brand’s offering, and one that establishes a positive feeling with their current and prospective customers.
SKU specific pages that highlight the lifestyle and messaging while holistically bringing together the JaM brand offering was not in the RFP. It was a result of the creative process, asking questions and working collaboratibely across a gamut of creative mediums.
The new design needed to reflect the vibrant music and wine culture of JaM Cellars. They are proud promoters of Bottle Rock Napa Valley and Ohana Fest, have weekly live shows in their tasting room and put on special events at the JaM Cellars Ballroom. From JaM Cellars there's nothing better that melds together than wine and music.
A clear direction for lifestyle and studio photography was set by using the wireframes to guide the content and having a well establishd style and tone in the early stages of design. However, all that really just gets you a flushed out shotlist. All the beautiful in the moment work was captured by photographers, production planners, stylists, models with positive attitudes, client communication, hydration and c-stand squats.
